Your objective will be to lead one of the nations of this great continent, to guide it to victory by making astute decisions that will improve your global position. The premise of Latin Empire 2027 is as follows: it is the year 2027 and a popular uprising has overthrown the current government, electing you as the leader of the rebels. Now the future of the country, whichever you choose, is in your hands. And, in fact, that will be the first important decision you will have to make before starting a new game: choosing which country you want to play with. At your disposal you will have more than twenty different nations, each with its pros and cons. Brazil, for example, has a lot of territory and power, but its goals are very ambitious; while Belize has far fewer resources, but its goals are more restrained.

The first thing you will see when you start a new game of Latin Empire 2027 will be the map of Latin America, with all the countries clearly differentiated by colors. On the left side of the screen you will have all the information related to your empire: land mass, population, money, rebels and date. By tapping the information menu you can quickly access the list of actions you can perform during your turn. You can buy weapons, send spies, mobilize your troops, establish new diplomatic relations, request sanctions at the United Nations, invest in technology, or try to improve the country's economy.

Although listed one after the other all these actions sound simple, the truth is that they are not. Investing in technology, for example, is not simply a matter of pressing that button and that's it. Investing in technology involves looking at the benefits of improving the country's primary education, or trying to investigate new forms of energy supply. Similarly, you will have more than a dozen different types of troops to buy, so it is important to analyze what you want to use them for before making your purchase. Every decision carries weight.

One of the strong points of Latin Empire 2027, without a doubt, is that it will allow you to play alone, against the artificial intelligence; as well as in multiplayer mode, against up to eight human opponents. And, even better, you will be able to play both over the Internet and in a local network. In this game mode, each player takes their turn, can send text messages to the others, and once everyone has finished, it is on to the next turn. From the options menu, you can also change the interface language, choosing from more than 30 different languages, so you can play with friends from all over the world.
